Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Juan and the Shadowy Figure. Juan is slumped forward a bit, recovering from the choking.
Juan: {Huff!}{Pant!}{Pant!} I've learned that my apartment's security sucks.
Shadowy Figure: You would be wise to cooperate, Señor Gómez.
Shadowy Figure: I will obtain the information I seek, by any means necessary.
Shadowy Figure: You understand, yes?
Panel 2
Juan manages a triumphant smile at the shadowy figure.
Juan: We've only just begun our queries, and have nothing beyond what you already know from the Smith & Holder report.
Juan: You clowns jumped the gun! If you'd waited a few more days I coulda maybe got some hot tidbits for ya.
Panel 3
Medium shot on Juan, his restraining collar pulling his head forward and downward while his arms are flung back so far his elbows cross. We can see the Shadowy Figure, to the side, gesturing with his hands.
Shadowy Figure: Then perhaps you could help us locate Señorita Martelli.
Juan: If she didn't go home, like I told her to, I can't help you.
Panel 4
Medium shot on Juan, his restraining collar pulling his head forward and downward while his cuffed wrists are flung back so far his elbows cross. We can see the Shadowy Figure, to the side, gesturing with his hands.
Juan: WHUCKKK!!
Shadowy Figure: I'm pretty sure you can be more helpful, with a bit of persuasion.
