Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 1796
Panel 1Diana is trying to pull away from the S&H man but he's holding her fast by her upper arm.
Diana: LET GO!
S&H man: We need you to answer some questions.
S&H man: Where have you been the last 15 hours?
S&H man: And why did you wait so long to report the incident at your apartment?
Panel 2
A bright beam of light leaps out from the large gem on Diana's necklace and catches the S&H man in the face. He instinctively releases his grip on Diana to shield his eyes.
Diana: I SAID LET GO!
SFX: FLASH!
S&H man: Aaaugh!!
Panel 3
Diana is now standing braced, her zringer brought to bear on the S&H agents. The man is covering his eyes with his hands. The woman is holding her hands up, palms forward.
Diana: That was my non-lethal response to rude behavior. Wanna see my lethal one?
S&H man: Ugh! Fugginbitch …
S&H woman: Wait! Hold on, we just want to talk to you.
Panel 4
Diana lowers her ring but not her guard. S&H man is still pressing the heels of his hands against his eyes. The S&H woman remains calm.
Diana: You two have a lousy way of introducing yourselves.
S&H woman: My apologies. I'm Smith & Holder Agent Bethany Tieman. This is Agent Lorne Verdana.
S&H man (Verdana): Gonna need new goddamn corneas.
