Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Panel 1
Diana, Dong, Wook and Areum are in the 'car park' walking along a taxi-path.
Dong: I think it likely that there is a tracking device in the flyer Senhora deClayre gave you, and possibly a cabin recorder, yes?
Diana: I hate to think that of Lorelei, but yeah, it's very possible.
Panel 2
They are standing next to the super-flyer. The satchel is open on the ground, and Dong is assembling a meter-tall device as the others look on.
Diana: Come to think of it, there's nothing sinister about a tracking device for your own mobile property. I have one for my own flyer.
Dong: As well as a cabin recorder?
Diana: Er, no. But I do have a remote disabler.
Panel 3
Two-shot of Dong and Diana, with the device which appears to be functioning now.
Dong: A tracker and a recorder are not sinister in themselves. But having such in another's control is a security problem.
Diana: Yeah. The thing is, I'm still not sure whether this is a gift or a loaner. Would I be violating her property right if we disabled them?
Panel 4
Pull back to include part of the super-flyer. Dong is looking at a holoscreen generated above the device. Diana is looking surprised.
Dong: Well, maybe she won't mind if we only disable two of the three trackers and three of the four recording devices.
Dong: The remote disabler is already disabled, however. Most curious.
