Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
The four of them are seated in the flyer (same positions as before but Dong is riding shotgun). Diana is expressing startled annoyance.
Caption: We'd been flying for just a few moments when:
Wook: That's a dash jacket, if I may say. Where did ...
Diana: What the flaming fuck!
Areum: Wook! Don't be rude!
Panel 2
Diana apologizes to Wook.
Diana: No no, I'm sorry, Wook, I wasn't responding to you.
Diana: I have a sub-agent running auto in my implant which routinely accesses the Rejes, and ...
Diana: … suddenly it can't, and now I can't get any other sort of response from the network.
Panel 3
Dong explains it all.
Dong: It is my 'masking thingamajigee,' of course.
Dong: All transmissions going out are blocked. We can only receive.
Diana: Too bad your device can't be more selective.
Dong: It is selective in that it permits visible light.
Panel 4
Exterior shot of the flyer approaching a Junction Matrix.
Dong: Otherwise we would be a very conspicuous black spheroid, Senhora Martelli.
Diana: Please call me 'Diana.' It's more direct.
Dong: Then you should also call me, 'Gyeon-Hoon.'
Diana: Well, that sounds better than 'Master Dong' – in my native language.
