Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Another angle on Diana, Wook, and Monty.
Diana: The 'hexagon' part I understand.
Diana: When it was opened-up, it sort of resembled a Junction Matrix. All hexagons.
Monty: Yes, the resemblance to a Junction Matrix is striking.
Monty: What does that suggest to you?
Panel 2
Diana tries to guess at the answer, which amuses Monty to no end.
Diana: Uh, this is supposed to be a gateway between dimensions?
Monty: Ha-ha-ha-ha!
Monty: I told you to quit reading science-fiction. It's bad for your brain.
Panel 3
Diana stands her ground. Now Monty is on the defensive.
Diana: But then, what is this thing for?
Monty: That … I can't tell you.
Monty: I was hoping your intuition might serve us here.
Panel 4
Diana is frowning, with her arms crossed; Monty is doing something with the console.
Diana: If my intuition was any good I'd have turned down this case.
Monty: You don't yet know where this will lead. It could make you a fortune.
Diana: Or, get me killed.
