Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
This time Diana is narrating in-story, from a cameo. She is with Alyss in Alyss's home museum. Alyss is looking up at that giant painting of her younger self with Murphy and Seamus.
Diana (cameo): Two days ago Alyss called me to her house for an urgent chat.
Diana (in panel): Hey, I hope this doesn't take long. I have an appointment to view apartments.
Panel 2
Medium 2-shot of Alyss and Diana. Alyss has turned to speak with Diana.
Alyss: I hope that won't be necessary. Monty would be so disappointed.
Diana: What? Why? How?
Alyss: I'm leaving the city, and Monty wants you to live here, in him.
Panel 3
Diana staggers a bit under the double-surprise.
Diana: You're leaving the city?
Diana: And what do you mean, live 'in' Monty?
Alyss: Monty isn't just a collection of avatars, he is the house. I've been his tenant.
Panel 4
Diana looks down to see Monty's Panda avatar proffering a silver platter upon which rests an electronic key atop a note reading, 'Welcome Home, Please.' The Panda has exceptionally puppy-dog type eyes.
Alyss (OP): It's a contractual relationship, like everything else here.
Alyss: No doubt the terms will be highly favorable, as I think he loves you.
Alyss: But make sure you understand it before you agree.
