Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Jorge: Knowing you, Dominic, your Bill Ward nudes are probably knock-offs.

Colón: First we need to beef up our defenses so another strike like this will fail.

Panel 2
Focus on Kofi, next to Colón. He's speaking to Verma, who we see from high and behind.
Kofi: How soon can we double the perimeter outposts?
Caption: Kofi Akosah
Verma (OP): In about 10 days. But that won't do much good.
Kofi: Why not?
Panel 3
Include Verma and Kāng, flanked by Martello and Montoya
Kāng: Because a two-megaton iron 'space-turd' coming in at 9/10ths of light-speed would blow right through anything we might throw at it to stop it.
Panel 4
Martello smiles, leans back in his chair
Martello: Gennelmens, I recommend you set up those extra perimeter stations, pronto.
Martello: I have an idea how we can deal with any more high-speed turds, iron or otherwise.
Martello: I just need a one-minute warning.
