Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Shift to grim-faced Alyss, Jorge, Enrique and Kofi viewing the broadcast in their conference room.
Bok (OP): … and murdered, in cold blood.
Bok: One staff member was released to, quote, ‘tell the resistance to stand down or this will continue.’
Jorge: What the hell do we do now?

The four Pillars talk among themselves.
Enrique: I know what we don’t do – capitulate.
Kofi: Agreed. But what will the populace do?
Alyss: I think most of them will just get more angry. I know I want to kill those fuckers with my bare hands.

More talking, Alyss has her head turned a bit:
Enrique: Most who would be inclined to surrender have already left the city.
Kofi: Which is fortunate because we are also cut off from some of our food supplies.
Alyss: Hang on, I’m getting an incoming call from Sheldon.

Sheldon: It appears the solution appeared on my doorstep just a few minutes ago.
Sheldon: This gentlemen claims to be a defector from IGC.
Sheldon: I recommend we convene an audience for him.
