Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Winona and Warren are standing behind the goat barn. Winona is holding a ruck-sack, and handing Warren a bigger one. Warren has tied his light jacket around his waist. Alyss narrates from a cameo
Alyss narration: In less than half an hour, Wynona returned, with two ruck-sacks.
Wynona: I’ve got some food, and enough water to get us to town.
Panel 2
The two set off, keeping the barn behind them.
Warren: Why are we going this way?
Winona: We have to keep the barn between us and the house so my fam won’t notice us until we’re far enough away.
Panel 3
They continue skirting around a small mountain across rocky terrain
Warren: How do you know this short-cut?
Winona: I’ve lived here since I was three. I’ve done some exploring.
Panel 4
The pair continue through the rocky terrain. They’re starting to sweat.
Warren: Geebus, it’s getting hot.
Winona: We’re into early summer now.
Winona: There’s a place just up ahead we can rest in some shade.
Panel 5
They stop to rest in the shelter of a large cave opening, eating sandwiches Winona has packed for them.
Warren: Huh. How far does this cave go?
Winona: A little ways, do you want to take a look?
Panel 6
Warren prepares to take a swig of his water canteen.
Warren: Maybe another time. I need to get to Candace.
Winona: Right. Well, eat your sandwich and we’ll go.
