A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2570
Panel 1The kids are on the opposite bank of the river. Warren is wringing out his socks. Winona is inspecting his ruck-sack.
Winona: Well, it’s a good thing I put most of the water bottles in your ruck-sack.
Warren: How far until we stop for the night?
Winona: About nine klicks.
Panel 2
The pair proceed past the trees on the other side of the river.
Winona: We should get to Juanita just after noon tomorrow.
Warren: Do your parents get worried when you go on long walks like this?
Winona: Yeah, but it’s worth it to get away from my sivata for a while.
Panel 3
Suddenly Warren grabs Winona by her arm and pulls her back towards the trees.
SFX (faint): EEEEEE
Warren: Watch out! Hide!
Winona: What --?
Panel 4
The kids peer up through the trees at Situ’s cruiser flying overhead.
Winona: That’s your father?
Warren: Yeah.
Warren: I know the whine of papá’s Cruiser in atmo.
Panel 5
They proceed onward, Winona glancing back in the direction of the Cruiser.
Winona: If he comes back when we’re out in the open, what do we do?
Warren: I dunno, run for cover, I guess.

Winona scowls at Warren
Winona: You really haven’t thought this through, have you?
Warren: It was kind of spur-of-the-moment. Mamá was taking a nap when I left.
