Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 350
Panel 1Nicole, with her curly locks and wearing the outfit we first saw her in, half-running, half stumbling down a dark corridor.
Nicole: No! ... huff ... puff ... gasp
Panel 2
Suddenly, a giant, black, hairy, spider-like creature rises before her. It has two heads, with the faces of the two cops who had arrested Nicole.
Spider-thing: Stop resisting!
Nicole: SHRIEEEEEK!
Panel 3
Nicole is on the ground, curled into a fetal position as the spider-thing rains down dozens of blows with its numerous arms, each of which is holding a billy-club.
Spider-thing: Stop resisting!!
Nicole: AAAAAAAAAA!!!!
SFX: BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM
Panel 4
Suddenly Nicole is back in her jail cell, with her shaved head and jumpsuit, still in the fetal position but being gently cradled by Buford, who sits on the floor in front of their bunks with her. The lighting is subdued for sleeping.
Nicole: Ohhhh GOURRD! I REMEMBER! I REMEMBER!
Nicole: {SOB!}
Buford: It's okay, baby, it's over.
