Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole walks over to where her holo-beret is laying on the ground, picks it up. We can see Buford and Ventura in the background.
Nicole: Another question I have is ...
Nicole: How the hell did Ma-Bo Nu know where to find us?
Nicole: Ventura,do you have some kind of tracker on you?
Panel 2
Two-shot of Nicole and Ventura. Nicole is placing the beret on her head. The medium-length curls re-appear.
Ventura: My owner has one in me, in case a rental customer fails to return me.
Nicole: That doesn't explain how Ma-Bo was able to find us.
Nicole: Can you do a self-scan, and see if you have a second tracking device?
Panel 3
Nicole is picking up the two shopping bags that had been dropped in the fight earlier. Ventura is in the foreground, with a sort of glazed look in her eyes (she's looking inward).
Ventura: Uhm ... huh. Yes, there's a second beacon.
Nicole: Can you turn it off? Or remove it?
Panel 4
Close 3-shot of Buford, Nicole and Ventura. Ventura looks a bit embarrassed.
Ventura: I can't deactivate it, and I'll need some help to remove it.
Ventura: It's located in -- a rather inconvenient place.
