Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Goal Reached! [ Dec 11, 2024 ]
We reached our goal and then some. We want to thank all of our backers for helping us reach and surpass our goal. We also want to take this time to thank everyone who has contributed to supporting our strip by buying our books and reading the strip regularly so we can earn a little advertising revenue.
Because we set this up as a flexible campaign, anyone wanting to back this campaign and get a perk can do so through this Friday. For those of you still interested in backing our campaign, click on this link or on the picture to visit our campaign!
Panel 1
A taxi flies among the city's buildings.
Buford: Do you always carry a set of mini-tools wit' you?
Nicole: You never know when you might want to drive some screws, Buford.
Panel 2
Inside the taxi, Buford sits at one end of the bench seat, with Ventura resting her head in crossed arms on her lap. At the other end of the bench, Ventura's rear end is partially disassembled and up in the air as Nicole is doing something with the innards. (Nicole has changed her anysuit pattern to something more contemporary.)
Buford: You mean, screw some drifes?
Ventura: When you have disengaged the sacral motivator unit, move it to one side so you can access the cauda interface panel cover.
Panel 3
Closer shot of Nicole up to her forearms in Ventura's opened-up ass.
Nicole: Do you know what this tracer looks like?
Ventura: I only know it's location. It can't be very large.
Panel 4
Angled shot with Ventura's head in the foreground and Nicole in the background.
Nicole: How will I know what it is?
Ventura: Can you give me a direct visual feed via your implant? I'll know it when I see it.
Panel 5
Closer shot on Nicole peering into Ventura.
Nicole: There's like a gazillion fibers and diodes in here.
Ventura: You've got to be close. Just poke around a bit -- carefully -- and see if it turns up.
Panel 6
Medium close-up on Ventura.
Ventura: Wait -- that's got to be it!
Ventura: Looks like a tiny white machine-screw shaft, with a blue light. See it?
Nicole (OP): Yeah.
Panel 7
Medium shot of Nicole. She's holding a half-cm-long device between her fingertips.
Nicole: Here's the little bugger.
Ventura: Okay, now please close me up, so I can get out of Buford's lap.
Panel 8
Medium 2-shot of Buford and Ventura.
Buford: I'm glad t'is little caper is about over.
Ventura: You should try looking up your own ass some time. It will open worlds for you.
