Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
At the android rental shop. The shopkeeper greets Seamus as he enters the lobby.
Shopkeeper: Ah, Dr. O'Murchadha! How did things go with your rental?
Seamus: Not at all well, I'm afraid.
Panel 2
Buford and Nicole enter, carrying a very large bag.
Shopkeeper: No?
Seamus: It was quite embarrassing, actually. I spent a small fortune on evening gowns for my two escorts, but I wasn't at the party for ten huofen when the android's gown disappeared, exposing her nude body.
Panel 3
The shopkeeper looks alarmed, as Seamus reaches into the bag Buford is carrying.
Shopkeeper: But -- but that's impossible!
Seamus: More than possible. But that's not the worst of it, because less than a huofen later, she suffered a total breakdown.
Panel 4
Seamus holds up Ventura's lifeless head, which is scorched with smoke-stains.
Shopkeeper: My word!
Seamus: What kind of shoddy goods are you passing off on people?
