Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still at the table in Callahan's.
Nicole: So ya partnered up with th' dangerous fool, huh?
Seamus: I needed the money to buy Tong Xie-Bo's shares, and for other expenses. Also, I think this has served other purposes.
Panel 2
Buford pipes up.
Buford: What other purposes?
Seamus: Mainly, making sure that if the investigators catch up to you for your -- ah -- wetwork in Rizhao, we have a well-placed ally who can run interference.
Panel 3
Buford gets defensive.
Buford: T'at wasn't 'wetwork,' t'at was defending Murphy here.
Seamus: Murphy? Who's Murphy?
Nicole: That's our Robot-Girl's new liberty name. D'ya like it?
Panel 4
Murphy smiles sweetly at Seamus.
Murphy: I chose it to honor you. It is derived ...
Seamus: From O'Murchadha, yes, I know. It's an anglicization.
Seamus: I suppose you could've done worse.
