Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Scott's home and studio were without electric power for three days after the freak winter ice/snow storm hit Texas last week. That plus needing a day to recover and recuperate has eaten up his buffer of strips and put him a week behind schedule. We regret that a one-week pause in uploads is unfortunately necessary.
Panel 1
Exterior view of Deimos, featuring Voltaire Station ensconced in its eponymous crater. Huoxing looms in the background.
Murphy (from the station): I gather the final business on Huoxing went well?
Seamus (from the station): Well enough. I managed to get a small part of your inheritance back.
Panel 2
Seamus has joined the girls at their table. From left, Buford, Murphy, Nicole, Seamus, who has his own drink.
Murphy: Ah ... how small a part?
Seamus: You will get Po Xu-ke's share of Project X, once I clear things with the other shareholders.
Seamus: I have someone else working on the larger portion.
Panel 3
Murphy and Seamus. Nicole looks annoyed.
Murphy: And what is this Project X?
Seamus: I can't tell you right now, but it's the reason Nicole and I are playing interplanetary tourist.
Nicole: Waidaminit ...
Panel 4
All four in the frame. Nicole can't hold her tongue any longer.
Nicole: ... I nearly get broiled over th' sun, get the crat beat outa me on Luna, had to see you naked in Pellucidar, an' SHE gets a share o' the project?
Buford: Which part was worst?
Seamus: The part where I sold Peng-Bo Shen half of my mass-detector invention.
