Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 563
Panel 1In the left foreground, one of the techs is bending over some device. In the background we see Nicole and Seamus standing beyond the glass.
Seamus: I've only known her a few days, and already I owe my life to her.
Nichole: Yeah, I saw the security videos, too ...
Panel 2
Flashback to a security-cam POV image of Mr. Graves dragging the beaten Murphy along a corridor.
Caption (Nicole): 'The actual fight was just a blur, but we saw that stinkfoot dragging her broken body to the airlock clear enough.'
Nicole: 'And after she tossed him, dragged herself on her elbows back to your pod to reverse the disconnect commands.'
Panel 3
Different-angle two-shot of Seamus and Nicole -- Nicole is looking up at Seamus who simply gazes intently through the glass.
Nicole: But you've stood right well by her.
Nicole: You've closely reviewed her treatment every step of the way.
Nicole: Not to mention, laid out kilograms of aurum for all the upgrades.
Panel 4
Nicole smiles sideways at Seamus while stretching absentmindedly as they talk.
Nicole: If I didn't know better, I'd say you were getting sweet on her.
Seamus: Just showing my appreciation for her service, I assure you.
