Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cathy has led the trio to a display case full of handguns.
Cathy: Blades are simpler but if you need to stop someone at more than two meters your best weapon is a handgun.
Cathy: We have auto-pistols and revolvers, in a wide variety.
Panel 2
Cathy presents to Nicole something that looks like Malcolm Reynolds' sidearm.
Cathy: Or there's this 'Century Auto-volver,' a unique design, holds 10 rounds of 10x25 mm.
Nicole: Kind of bulky.
Panel 3
Cathy presents something that looks like a Kel-Tek P3AT.
Cathy: We have this fine little number, holds seven rounds of 9x17 mm.
Nicole: Kind of wimpy.
Panel 4
Cathy has presented another gun, which this time Nicole is holding in her hands, getting the mass of it. It's a Tanfoglio Witness Compact.
Cathy: You want small but mighty? Try this Tanfoglio Witness Compact, comes chambered in 9x19 or 10x22 mm.
Nicole: Huh.
Nicole: Now, what exactly is a 'round,' and what does 'chambered' mean?
