Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Her gun holstered, Nicole climbs up Murphy, moving around to her back.
Nicole (thought): Strange she'd be out so long.
Nicole: Also, her skin is a weird color.
Panel 2
Nicole has positioned herself so that her legs are wrapped around Murphy's waist, and her head and shoulders are just above Murphy's head. One hand is pressing a hidden button on Murphy's head while the other holds a small multi-tool.
Nicole (thought): Why isn't she rebooting?
Nicole: I'll get to the bottom of this.
Panel 3A
Medium c/u: A plate on Murphy's head has swung open and Nicole is sticking a probe into the exposed brain-parts.
Nicole (thought): What the hell –?

Zoom in a bit tighter – Nicole is starting to look horrified.
Nicole (thought): No!
