Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Inside the lift, Bill has his helmet off and his palm aside his ear.
Bill: Manny, I'm headed your way. Anything new?
Manny: I've resolved the most probable destination for Baines.
Panel 2
Bill has stopped on the crew quarters deck, and is stashing his suit in a cabinet.
Bill: Don't leave me hanging, Manny.
Manny: Remember that freighter I told you was gonna pass within 5 million klicks of us?
Panel 3
Exterior view of the Cissonius rocketing through space (because we haven't seen this in a while).
Bill: Don't tell me – he's gonna rendezvous with the freighter.
Manny: Looks like it, yeah.
Manny: I hailed the freighter and got a canned response.
Panel 4
Bill has reached the control deck, is poking head and shoulders through the hatch as he speaks with Manny. They both look unhappy.
Bill: Where's that freighter bound?
Manny: Herschel Station, around Titan.
Bill: GENSAXWAL Security Domain. Damn.
Manny: You said a mouthful.
