A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 882
Panel 1The Enforcer now is now holding Murphy by her head and one upper arm, and is pulling hard on both.
Enforcer: A living dolly!
Murphy: {uurgh!}
Enforcer: I wonder if the head comes off.
Panel 2
Murphy reaches behind with her free hand, the fingers of which have transformed into razor-sharp blades, and slices the Enforcer's arm off above the wrist.
Murphy: Nope.
Enforcer: GAH!
Panel 3
The Enforcer has released Murphy, cradling his arm stump in his remaining hand. Murphy uses the opening to stab deep into his chest with her bladed hand.
Murphy: Oh, did you drop something? Let me help.
Enforcer: Hurk!
Panel 4
Murphy continues her cautious progress, leaving the dying Enforcer on the deck behind her.
Cristina: Trouble?
Murphy: Enforcer. No trouble.
Cristina: Hey, leave some for me, will you?
Panel 5
Murphy continues down a corridor.
Murphy: Once I get Nicole safe, have at 'em.
Murphy: Although, I would counsel a low-impact approach. At least spare the pilots and mechanics.
Panel 6
Murphy moves through a chamber.
Cristina: That only leaves Toombs and Bobinardi.
Murphy: Have fun with Bobinardi – but Toombs is feekin dangerous, even to you.
Murphy: Best leave him to me, darling.
Panel 7
Murphy is in another corridor.
Cristina: Last door on the left.
Murphy: What will I find?
Cristina: The room is shielded, so I don't know.
Cristina: I just know she's in there.
Panel 8
Looking through the door from behind Murphy, we see Nicole reclining in an easy chair, a large-screen video before her. She is dressed in a tank-top and loose cotton shorts. The place looks like an efficiency apartment, with a dresser and bed in the background.
Nicole: Murphy!
Nicole: 'Bout damn time you showed up.
