Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Nicole barely holds herself up on all fours as the ship around her continues shaking violently.
Cristina SFX: KKIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL
Nicole: CRISTINA! NO! PLEASE!
Panel 2
The ship continues shaking violently, bouncing Nicole on her behind.
Nicole (thought): Dammit, Nicole, use the uplink.
Nicole (upload): Cristina! Stop! Please!
Nicole (upload): I – ow! - killed Bobinardi!
Panel 3
The ship stops shaking. Nicole braces herself against a wall, starting to regain her feet.
Cristina: You killed him? Can you show me?
Nicole: Yeah – unf – where's your nearest camera?
Cristina: About 20 meters to your right. Look for the small green light.
Panel 4
Murphy is holding up Bobinardi's severed head to a camera mounted high on a corner wall. The face, again, is turned away from us. Her shovel is in her other hand.
Cristina: Uh, are you sure that's Bobinardi?
Nicole: Who else could it be?
