Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 1928
Panel 1The thugs and hooligans, plus Dong and his nieces, are gathered around Diana in the living room as she addresses them.
Caption: So a few minutes later, as I promised Dong:
Diana: As Senhor Gyeon-Hoon explained, my investigations have, well, annoyed certain powerful interests.
Panel 2
Diana continues:
Diana: I am hoping that I can avoid any difficulties more severe than I've dealt with so far.
Diana: However, if things go badly I may have need of more protection than a pair of skilled body-guards can offer.
Diana: And if that happens I would want to call on you for assistance.

One of the thugs has a question.
Thug: And what are you offering to pay us? Can you pay us?
Diana: I … my research project has a sponsor who will cover my reasonable expenses.
Diana: As to how much, well …

Diana smiles, turns to gesture towards Dong, who gives her a rueful look.
Diana: I will leave it to Senhor Gyeon-Hoon to negotiate rates with you.
Diana: I have full confidence in his knowledge and ability to arrange a fair deal.
Caption: Well, tossing the potato to Dong was only fair, inasmuch has he'd pretty well ambushed me.
