A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Buford: What now?
Nicole: I'm kinda pooped from all this excitement.
Nicole: Let's find a restaurant, then a hotel where we can lay low and wait for Seamus.
Closer, angled 3-shot of Buford, Ventura and Nicole.

Nicole: In the first place, I'm sure we're safely beyond the bad guys' ability to follow us now.
Medium close-up on Nicole:
Nicole: In the second place, you need some place you can recline and let your back finish healing.
Nicole: In the third place, I want to find out why Ventura didn't help me fight those clowns.
Three-shot of Buford, Ventura and Nicole. Nicole is outraged.
Ventura: Because I … have no knowledge of fighting. It is ...
Nicole: Criminal, that's what it is!
Nicole: Everyone has a right to self-defense, including artifolk. And I'm gonna educate you.
